College application strategies and advising for schools and school districts:

Middle School Viability Analysis. The report answers the question: Are our middle school students being adequately prepared and positioned to be “on-track” in high school to be competitive in competitions like Intel, science Olympiads, and for other nationally recognized opportunities, and will they be on track for the most competitive colleges?

School District Viability Analysis. The report answers the question: Why aren’t our kids getting in? Why are students from my school or district not winning admissions offers from the most competitive colleges, but in the neighboring district, with almost identical demographics, lots of students are being offered admission into top schools? The report recommends cost-efficient programs and opportunities (many of them cost-free, utilizing existing faculty and facilities) for the districts to offer to improve students’ chances at competitive colleges. The analysis features “lookover” service to review college applications and essays of the top students in the district or school (to prevent “trickle-down damage” to all students in the district or school) to analyze any district patterns or deficiencies that are keeping students from gaining offers from most-competitive colleges, and specific remedies are suggested. The program includes meetings with students and administration and a written report.
